Welcome to My Blog

Name:
Location: Sacramento, California, United States

I am four years old and, so far, an only child, but I am not spoiled. I think. Mommy tells me that I am lucky because I have many people who love me both on the West Coast and the East Coast.

Sorry to be so long...

Mommy and I have been pretty sick. We did go to Fairytale Town for the first time. That was fun. We are now members. Also, I went to my grandpa H.'s birthday party. Happy Birthday to my mom and cousin Ian tomorrow! We have spent a lot of time at the park too. And I am getting better eating with utensils. I really love apples. And Uncle Chris' lasagna (I licked the plate!). I am getting really good with pointing to my body parts. I added toes to the list although Mommy says "piggies" so I don't think she is saying "nose" when she says "toes". 5 more getups until Mommy and I are hanging with my NY peeps.

Chick Fil A

Well, Sacramento got a Chick Fil A. Mommy has not been to one in 4 years. Daddy had coupons, so we met Mommy after work at the restaurant. We each got a chicken sandwich. Mommy picked the breading off my chicken and cut it up into chunks. After it was not so hot (I touch it and say "ot, ot, ot"), I ate it up. Then I ate the peach cup Daddy brought and part of my banana. They had a kids play area, so Mommy took me in there. There is a set of stairs that wind around to an area of tubes. One tube takes you to a fake car to drive. The other tube takes you to a slide. There was also a toddlers area, but I did not hang out there long. There were about 7 kids in there when I first went in. I climbed up and down the stairs several times before I went into the tubes. Then I sat up there and cried. Eventually, all the other kids left. I went down the slide once on my tummy feet first. I thought that was a riot. So I went to do it again, and this time I sat down. My eyes were so huge as I came around the corner to see Mommy at the base of the slide! But then more kids came in, and I got scared again. They were all bigger than me. Plus it was getting close to my bedtime. I started to cry. A big girl helped me to get back down the stairs to Mommy and Daddy and Snickers. What an adventure! I fell asleep in the car on the way home. On Sunday, Mommy and I are going to Apple Hill with some other Mommies and kids. We'll buy apples and go to a petting zoo and stuff.

I got my first haircut!

I went to the zoo and Funderland on Saturday with Daddy and my cousins Ian and Emma. On Sunday, I went to a baby shower with Mommy and then we went to the Folsom Outlets. I got more Playdough--score!!

Monday, Mommy took me to Mastercuts at Arden Fair Mall where she gets her hair cut. The lady, Rosey, had me sit on Mommy's lap. Then she let me feel all the razors when they were on. It was weird at first, but then I think the vibration of the razor on my head was relaxing. Mommy said I look a lot like Grandpa M. but with blond hair and I am quite the handsome gentleman. Nobody will think I am a girl now! Mommy was a little reluctant to see the hair that took so long to grow go away, but she saved some on a First Haircut certificate. Cousin Alex gets a lollipop when he gets a haircut but they did not have any. So Mommy splurged on some mini-chocolate chip cookies. Yummy!
