I am four years old and, so far, an only child, but I am not spoiled. I think. Mommy tells me that I am lucky because I have many people who love me both on the West Coast and the East Coast.

Happy Halloween! This is my first one, and I am dressed up as a polar bear today. I am waaaaay cute if I do say so myself! I did not recognize Mom and Dad in their costumes at first. I am going trick or treating tonight with my cousins, and I hope to get lots of candy. I doubt I will get to eat any of it. Something about sugar and hyperactivity and then also not eating vegetables and being doomed to spend my life being a fat slob supersizing everything at McDonald's and dying from a heart attack alone because what woman would want me or something. I am 9 months old fer crying out loud, but whatever! Mommy let me have a few bits of her doughnut after church yesterday--what's the difference? Is it fair people? Let me know what you think!

Socks are an impediment
Mommy keeps insisting that I wear socks. Daddy is on my side on this as I will cry and thrash around if he tries to put them on. But when it is cold and rainy in the morning, Mommy says put socks on the boy's feet to keep them warm. Luckily, I get to take them off when I get to Karen's because it is so much easier for me to climb on things with bare feet.
Mommy also says that I am having my 3/4 birthday soon. Wow. When I think back over my life, I have come a long way! That's all for now peeps. I gotta get back to playing, eating, and napping.

Rainy Day
It is raining here in Sacramento. I showed Mom how I like to climb the stair at Karen's, then I step onto the chair and then keeping moving sideways until I am in the boat. Brmmm, brmmmm!! Karen told Mommy that Maggie watched me do it yesterday and tried to do it herself. We like to challenge each other. I also like to take food off Maggie's tray. Mommy said that trait was passed down to me from her Poppy.
Mommy was clued into a very funny site: http://zapatopi.net/treeoctopus/
She especially likes the conservation organizations at the bottom. Except for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Pumpkins because she is all about the pumpkin pie.

Oh well.
Mommy found out that the Zoo can deny entrance to service animals. My doggie did not like hearing this because he is proud that he can go places that most dogs cannot.
I had avocado last night with dinner-yummy. I also FINALLY climbed up to the top of the slide after many weeks of working at it. Then Karen takes it away! She said she does not want me taking a header off of it and splitting my head open. Oh well. Maggie and I will find other mischief to get into....

I'm gonna sue!!
Well, it has been a very interesting weekend. Mommy and I got our portraits taken at Glamour Shots at the mall. I was admired by all the staff and other customers, but I really needed my nap. Mommy told Daddy to take me home because I started crying. But before that happened, they tried to sell Mommy a crazy number of pictures. She almost needed one of my diapers after they tried to get her to buy a $1200 package!!!! Mommy tried to feed me lasagna for dinner like I love at Karen's house, but I just cried big tears and spit it out. Don't ask me why. I think I was just tired.
Then on Sunday, Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to the Zoo for the first time. So we got to the park and walked to the entrance. They would not let my Daddy's service dog in even though he was wearing his vest and Daddy let them look at the ID card. Daddy was really mad. Mommy asked to speak to a supervisor, and the man still would not let us in. So I got mad and started screaming and crying at the man since I cannot articulate in English. Mommy told him "We will be back" and we left. She emailed the people who trains the dogs for legal advice. I think we are going to have the last laugh. But anyway, then we went to see the pony rides and Funderland (which is very much like Hoffman's Playland where Mommy grew up). Then we went to Grandpa's house where Mommy and I watched the NY Giants pull off a win with 5 seconds to go and then I fell asleep on her lap.

Happy Birthday Mommy!
It's my Mommy's birthday, and her first present was that I played quietly in my crib while she took a shower. Daddy is taking her to dinner. My cousin Ian turns 6 today (Mommy is way older than 6), so he gets to play with me while Mom and Dad are eating. A playdate with me makes a fine present-I know Grandma and Grandpa would agree.
It was a busy weekend. Mommy got sad because something called a guinea pig named Gordo died while she was petsitting (is that why it died? Did Mommy sit on it?). Then we went to Apple Hill and bought apples, apple cider (that was yucky) and fresh hot doughnuts (that wasn't yucky). On Sunday, we went to Grandpa's birthday party (the other Grandpa). My doggie and my cousin's doggie ran around like they were in Churchill Downs (whatever that is). My cousins were amazed at how much I have grown and how I crawl very fast and cruise on the furniture.
My friend Maggie is still in Hawaii. I miss her very much although I hate it when she steals a toy from my hands. Oh, and Karen, my daycare lady, is having twins in June. Mommy was speechless.

Broccoli rules
Yesterday I had broccoli and cheese at Karen's. Now I don't know which is my favorite: broccoli and cheese or lasagna. Oh well. I fell and hit my head this morning. That really hurt and I cried! Mommy googled my first and middle names (how embarrassing!) and found a student with the same name at Dublin City College in Ireland. Mommy can be silly sometimes. That must be where I get it from!

Guess what?
I like lasagna. The jarred kind. Yum-yum-yummy! I also like steamed broccoli. Also, Mommy learned that she must move her fingers out of the way of my teeth verrrry fast when popping Cheerios in my mouth. Hee hee. Mom put a new toy in my room. I love it! It makes all sorts of noise and has levers and other cool things to push. I pull myself up and play and play. This weekend is Grandpa's birthday. We are going to Aunt Teresa's house to celebrate. Mommy was talking to Aunt Teresa last night, and I kept trying to chew the phone cord so she had to hang up and call back after I went to bed. I guess that was a bit naughty, but I wanted Mommy's full attention. Well, that is all the news for me people!

Yeeha!
Hi again-
Yesterday, I forgot to mention that I pulled myself up using Mommy's legs when she was sitting in the glider chair. Then I let go for just a second before re-grabbing Mommy's pantleg. Mommy was so impressed! This morning, I felt a lot better than yesterday since I slept very well last night. Mommy heard all this hysterical laughter from me and came to investigate. Daddy invented this new game where he holds me while he stamps his feet up and down which jiggles me. I had so much fun playing that new game-woohoo!

Me, difficult?
I do not like eating at home. I like eating with the gang at Karen's house. Does that make me a difficult child? I don't think so, but apparently Mom and Dad do! I did accidently bite my tongue yesterday so that bummed me out. Mom made me cereal this morning exactly the way Karen does, and I would not eat it. Nope, no way. So I should be plenty hungry for lunch. Well, I must go for my nap. I played hard this morning.

Yum!
Me again. Karen fed Maggie and I jarred Beef Stroganoff today. I LOVED it! I kept leaning forward in the chair begging her to feed me faster. Whew! Later, I played a lot but did not nap well. Poor Mommy. I was so cranky when she got home and I feel horrible about being so miserable during our time together. Daddy made French toast for dinner, and I didn't want to try it. So Mommy changed my diaper, put in my lullaby CD, and rocked me to sleep. I love that woman!

Hi there
Hi-
This is my first post! I think I am recovering pretty well from my cold. Still have lots of nasal congestion, but the doctor said that is normal. He did not really like it when I touched his stethoscope, but Mommy allowed it because he was not very helpful so she made him work for it. I went back to Karen's house today and had my usual applesauce and cereal for breakfast. She told Mommy that maybe I should start getting chunkier foods since I have 8 teeth already and keep gazing at the other kids' lunches with longing in my eyes. Well, time for my nap, so I will write more later.
